The good the bad and the ugly of 2012

wow so it has been an incredibly long time since my last blog post. I know I am a little early in posting about the happenings of 2012 but it has been something that has been on my mind quite a bit lately so i need to get it off my mind. There was a lot that happened to us. The events that I am about to talk about didn't happen in this exact order. So to start out the year Paizlee turned 1 in march and she is growing like a weed and changing so much! She is not my little baby girl anymore (sniff sniff)she is such a doll and we love having her in our home. She sure keeps me on my toes :) Karston was born in May and he has been so fun and such a wonderful addition to the family and he looks so much like his dad. I get told Paizlee looks like me and Karston looks like Devon. and I am totally ok with that :) My little brother came home from his mission in New Mexico and got married! We absolutely love his wife and she fits into our family so well. My sisters home burned down in a forest fire and what an emotional hard time that has been for them. After it happened we were able to go help with a cleaning crew that volunteered call "helping hands" from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. What an amazing spiritual experience that was. That day was the first time I got to see my sisters home after everything had happened. I cried for my sister, for her family, I cried in thankfulness for the kindness people were showing to them. I have never been so overwhelmed by the compassion I watched from these amazing people who came in and pulled the tin out of the basement that had came down from the roof, the young men who pulled out the burned up appliances. We were able to find a few things that had made it through the fire, things my sister really was hoping we would find and we did thankfully. Devon and I had a guy jump out in front of our car trying to kill himself and we hit him. Thankfully he survived but he did mess up our car :( wasn't happy about that but we got the car fixed and I really hope it taught that kid a lesson. (fingers crossed). Devon and I have been in our home now for a year and I absolutely love it! We are continuing to make small improvements as we can. We also celebrated Brynns 3rd Birthday.  This year was so different from all the other years. I can honestly say even though I miss her like crazy this year was different. This time I didn't spend the day crying like have before this year I was honestly able to celebrate her. Which is a huge improvement for me. This year has been full of ups and downs and I am so grateful for my loving husband and my wonderful children. They make this life worth living. I hope everyone had a good year and I'm excited to see what 2013 is going to bring :)

Happy new year!!

All I have to say is WOW for 2011 and that I am glad its over. This year has been full of many up and downs. To start off the year.... well in March that is my 3rd greatest blessing was born. Paizlee Clair, March 24. We purchased a camp trailer so we could continue camping with the baby. The summer was wonderful, filled with camping, fishing and spending time with family. In June Devon and I celebrated 3 years of marriage. The end of September rolls around and I find out that I am pregnant again. Needless to say I was completely shocked and totally not ready mentally for the emotional roller coaster that now comes with being pregnant after a loss. Yay for me that i get to have this stress all the time. Devon got into a wreck caused by a 16 year old driving on a suspended licence. Then we purchased and remolded our home, finally have a place to call our own! But over all it was a good year.

Now for 2012 resolutions. I didn't set any last year because I didn't care but this year is different. My first goal, setting my financial goals, meaning setting a plan to get out of debt. I know a lot of people say this but it is possible and I am going to do it. I know it wont happen in a year but my hope and goal to be out of debt including paying off my house, the car, devons student loans, credit cards and have an emergency fund is 7 years. Long time I know but that happens when you get into debt.

The second goal, after baby gets here in May, going on a diet.

Third, Devon and I are not going to eat out for lunch once this year during the work week.

Fourth, Doing all the laundry. meaning washing folding and putting away.

Good Bye Facebook

So ever since the changes that have taken place on facebook I have decided to close my account there. Mainly because I don't feel like my account is private anymore. If anyone comments on your comment then ALL of their friends can see what you said and what they said. It just bothers me a great deal. I originally wanted facebook to keep in touch with family but its changed into this big monster that I really don't need in my life and there are people on there to be honest I really don't want them knowing my business. Plus I am getting really tired of the filth and crap that people post on there. Its just a big waist of my time.

Here's to 3 years Baby!

Today Devon and I get to celebrate 3 years of marriage. There has been a ton that has happened in our lives. Here is the break down. June 21, 2008 Devon and I were sealed as an eternal family in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day saints Nauvoo temple. We started our newly married life together in Laramie, Wy where we met. I was working at Wells Fargo as a teller and Devon worked at Majestic Lube as the assistant manager. In October Devon was offered a mechanics job at Lithia in Pocatello, Id. So we moved to Pocatello. April of 2009 we found out we were pregnant with Brynn. After a long 34 weeks our lives were devastated when we found out that Brynn had passed away. November 18, 2009 Brynn was born and our lives have never been the same. November 21, 2009 We laid Brynn's little body to rest in the Grover, WY cemetery.

February 2010 my parents decided to start a new business and offered Devon and I both a job. So we moved to Star Valley, WY. July 2010 we found out again that we were pregnant. I was shocked and scared out of my mind and Devon could hardly contain his excitement. March 24, 2011 Paizlee Claire was born. Once again our lives will never be the same. I love having this sweet little angel in our home. She has brought so much joy and love into our lives.

So there you go. The biggest events in our lives in the past 3 years. I love you Devon and am one lucky girl to have you as my best friend and my husband!
